Meshes can be accessed by clicking on the Mesh Icon in the Main Toolbar at the left edge of the UI. Omniarch features a foldable mesh container next to the Main Toolbar. Within you can find Omniarch Mesh Library and User Imported Meshes. The UI currently includes a Search Function for more convenient mesh browsing.

Future updates plan to add Tag-Based Filtering and a Category Tree for even better organization.

Placing Meshes

There are two ways to place meshes into the viewport from the container:

  • Drag & Drop Placement – Simply drag a mesh into the viewport from the container using Left Mouse Button and place it at the desired location.
  • World Origin PlacementDouble-Clicking a mesh tile in the container places it at the absolute World Origin. This is useful for assembling pre-modeled components exported from another software, as all segments will align precisely at their original coordinates to compose a scene.

Multiple Mesh Selection

Omniarch supports Multiple Mesh Selection for bulk placement. When multiple meshes are selected and dragged into the scene, they retain their Local World Origins, ensuring accurate positioning of complex multi-part scenes.

Deleting Imported Meshes

Users can remove imported meshes from the mesh container library by pressing the X icon on the top-right corner of a mesh tile.
