Automated Lights

Automated Lights in Omniarch allow automatic light switching based on the Time of Day parameter when Dynamic Sky System is enabled. This automation makes it possible to synchronize entire scene of lights with day-night cycles, bring more life to your projects and presentations.
Once Automated Lights are set they work both in Omniarch Editor and Omniarch Explorer.

Even when light automation is enabled, manual Light Interaction remains fully functional. Lights can still be toggled on or off manually in both the Omniarch Editor and Omniarch Explorer using interaction inputs, unless interaction is disabled. This allows additional flexibility for testing and project presentations that combine automated and interactive control.

Automated Lights are enabled with Automated by Time checkbox at the individual Light Source Settings UI.

Dynamic Sky Light Automation

Automated Lights can be used together with Animate Sun parameter in the Dynamic Sky System, which triggers Time of Day value progression, resulting in continuous day-night cycle. Automated Lights will follow this progression, cycling on and off when their Day Time and Night Time parameter values are hit. This creates a fully autonomous system, ideal for dynamic presentations.

Dynamic Sky Light Automation is controlled by Time of Day parameter within Dynamic Sky System and does not work when HDRI Sky System is enabled.
