Dynamic Sky System

Dynamic Sky System will undergo major changes with upcoming updates. This documentation will be expanded when more solid systems are in place.

The Dynamic Sky System in Omniarch provides a fully procedural day-night cycle with real-time sky color and cloud transitions, sun movement, and atmospheric lighting. Designed for immersive visualization, this system allows flexible control of lighting ambiance, letting users precisely define the environment they want to create their visualizations in.

Dynamic Sky System can be accessed by clicking on the Sky Icon located in the Main Toolbar on the left edge of the interface.

Only one sky system can be active at a time, either the Dynamic Sky System or the HDRI Sky System.

Dynamic Sky Light Automation

Automated Lights can be used together with Animate Sun parameter in the Dynamic Sky System, which triggers Time of Day value progression, resulting in continuous day-night cycle. Automated Lights will follow this progression, cycling on and off when their Day Time and Night Time parameter values are hit. This creates a fully autonomous system, ideal for dynamic presentations.

Dynamic Sky Light Automation feature is controlled by Time of Day parameter within Dynamic Sky System and does not work when HDRI Sky System is enabled.
