Object Interaction

Current interaction system is only a prototype featured in our DEMO project. Full editor-integrated interaction system will be developed in future updates to expand functionality and customization.

Interaction in Omniarch allows users to engage with objects such as opening doors, adjusting window blinds, turning on lights, and modifying other interactable elements. It is also used for changing presets in Omniarch Explorer.

Interaction is performed using the Left Mouse Button (LMB) and its default state depends on the mode you're in.

Editor Mode

  • Interaction is disabled by default in Editor Mode.
  • Press Q to enable/disable interaction mode, allowing users to test interactive objects while using the flycam.
  • This feature is useful for testing object interactions before switching to First-Person Mode.

First-Person Mode

  • Interaction is enabled by default in First-Person Mode.
  • The mechanics are the same as in Editor Mode when interaction is enabled, allowing seamless transitions between modes.
